Ethiopians filmmakers train in Burkina Faso 2009
Ethiopian filmmakers train at Imagine Institute in Burkina Faso.
Gaston Kaboré generously welcomed six Ethiopian students at the Imagine FilmTraining Institute in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso in January – February 2009.
Supported by EFI Advisors Rod Stoneman from Huston School of Film & Digital Media and former BBC executive producer Keith Bowers, the film students produced 3 newsreels during FESPACO, the pan- African film festival held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso last March. Fast, colourful and dynamic newsreels show the films, events, film-makers, debates, as well as the social and cultural dimensions of the festival as they took place. It was screened on television, in cinemas, in hotels and on www.dailymotion.com.
